Yet another example of rolling with the punches! We had attempted on three different occasions to shoot this engagement session, but it happened to be raining every.single.time. We had this day on the books, and when I saw fresh snow in the forecast (ending the morning of their evening session), I couldn’t have been more excited. I convinced Veronica and Craig to change our shoot location to downtown Newburyport, having just been voted one of the Top 10 Christmas towns in New England.

When shooting in a really familiar place, I always offer multiple locations and backdrops to my couples. After bopping around downtown, we chased the light and headed towards Maudslay State Park. You know those sunsets that turn the earth pink for just a few minutes? We got one of those and it was incredible.
